Citicorp Web Site, or: Why I Bank at a Credit Union |
April 7, 2010 |
I have a Citibank credit card that I use for certain types of purchases. For a long time I've had a problem with the web site they provide customers for checking their bills and making payments. For some reason the site won't let me download statements if I use Firefox on my Mac. I've had to use Safari instead. Well, today I logged in and tried to use the site, but today the whole menu is inactive. I get a javascript error when I tried to select something from the menu. Okay. So, I sent an email to their customer service department to tell them about the problems with Firefox on the Mac. This was their response:
Thank you for your inquiry.
Unfortunately, we do not test or support our website for MAC.
It's not April 1 any more, so I guess this isn't a joke. It should be. How can a major corporation's customer service web site not support the Mac?
Astounding.
