My new tcPhotoGallery add-on for Concrete5 went rapidly from submission to public release. This new package is designed to support photo galleries with hundreds or even thousands of photos. A key feature is the ability to search and filter the gallery based on a multitude of attributes. Another key feature is the addition to Concrete5 of a file attribute import/export page that allows you to easily set attributes on hundreds of files - in this case photos - with a single click.

If you're building a site that sells custom products, with tcPhotoGallery you can easily set up demonstration galleries for those products even if they have many different options or configurations.  Your customers can quickly search through the gallery to find examples that meet their exact criteria.

I developed tcPhotoGallery for a particular application and then extended its functionality to meet the needs of people with similar requirements. The add-on is composed of two blocks: the gallery block and a separate search/filter block.  Having separate blocks provides a lot of flexibility in how the two separate but complimentary elements can be arranged on a page.  The configuration of the blocks makes is easy to enable and disable a variety of features. What's more, tcPhotoGallery built to be easily customizable and extensible with Concrete5's custom template feature.
