I've been managing the Pacific City - Nestucca Valley Chamber of Commerce web site since early 2007. Along with regular content updates and maintenance I added calendar functionality, custom member directory management software, and integration with Google maps including custom overlays for members and local attractions.

In the fall of 2008 the Chamber decided to update the design of the web site to give it a new and look. I designed and built the new site. The site uses the SkyBlueCanvas Lightweight CMS to allow updates to the site to be made quickly and easily. Several custom new modules were created for the site including authentication, authorization, news, calendar/event, and polling modules. The site uses an advanced web technology (Ajax) to improve the usability of the sites for users that have newer browsers that can support the technology. The design of the site is based on and compliant with modern web standards, which makes it easy to update and fully accessible for individuals with special needs.
